A picturesque waterfront venue sits among the oak trees on the Ashley River dating back to the late 1700's. Lowndes Grove is one of Charleston's last grand waterfront estates and is one of our favorite venues in the Charleston area. Managed by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group since 1997, the Lowndes Grove estate has been restored and transformed to its' former glory, offering a large front lawn for ceremonies and receptions, as well as two other large, outside tabby areas that often hold receptions. The grounds are home to many old oak trees and offer water views from nearly every angle. The historic home has been restored with period furnishings and offers multiple indoor spaces that are often used by our brides as they get ready the morning of their big day.
